Meet The OnlineClinic News Team
The Online Clinic news team are dedicated to bringing up to date news on issues, directly related to the health industry. The team was originally formed in 2007, with Editor, James Congdon, taking on the role of lead reporter before recruiting John Nixon.
James Congdon is the editor for Online Clinic. An experienced journalist with over 5 years worth of editorial experience, he specialises in obesity and weight loss. He studied nutrition at the University of Sussex. James joined the OC team in 2007 and now heads a team of 4 writers. His previous experience includes writing for the Financial Times newspaper.
Jo Keyte is a junior reporter for Online Clinic. She graduated from the University of Roehampton in 2008 and joined the team last December. She specialises in sexual health and has been featured in a number of publications including Sugar Magazine.
Tom Willis joined the OC editorial team in June 2007 as a junior reporter. The department has since grown and he has quickly climbed the ranks to a senior position, specialising in a variety of health issues. Capable of writing on anything health related, Tom has extensive knowledge in male pattern hair loss and obesity after previously working for a high street mens lifestyle magazine.
 John Nixon is the Lead Writer for Online Clinic News. John has been writing professionally for over 8 years and has written copy for a number of well known organisations, including Marks & Spencer, Loaded magazine, the NSPCC and the Ramblers’ Association. He has a degree in Media Arts from Royal Holloway University of London and a postgraduate degree in Professional Writing from University.
James was appointed the position of Editor in January of 2008. With the team taking on new roles, Tom Willis was drafted in as a junior reporter before quickly climbing the ranks, making way for Jo Keyte who is currently the resident Junior Reporter.
The 4 strong team report on a wide variety of topics, from obesity to impotence, right through to smoke cessation.The OC team has an outstanding reputation for innovative research and hard hitting reporting.
