Police seize fake Viagra in Israel

Twelve people were arrested in Israel last week, after they were found to be distributing fake erectile dysfunction drugs.

Running their scam from a factory in Tel Aviv, the group were selling fake Viagra and Cialis pills, which have now been seized by police. They are due to go on trial at Tel Alviv Magistrates Court next Wednesday on charges that range from illegal use of brand names, unauthorised distribution of medicine and fraud. It is thought that thousands of people had already brought the counterfeit medications via a website by the time undercover police made arrests.

The case highlights the importance of purchasing impotence treatments from reputable sources. There is a huge market for these drugs – Viagra alone reaps profits of over $3 billion a year.

It is important to remember that many health websites selling impotence offer a reliable and trustworthy service, though unfortunately not everyone has such integrity.

Real Viagra and Cialis pills have helped many men overcome erectile dysfunction. How do they work? The answer is simple. They simply relax muscles, allowing blood to flow freely to the penis. Considering how widespread impotence is as a condition (it affects one in two men at some point in their later life), the invention of Viagra was a massive breakthrough in medical science.

Obviously the massive demand for Viagra means a number of disreputable groups have cashed in, creating fake and dangerous versions of the drug. In a similar case to that discovered in Tel Aviv, two brothers in Montreal, Canada, were last month sentenced to five years in jail each for manufacturing 200,000 fake Viagra and Cialis tablets. The street value of the drugs, had the fraudsters had the chance to sell them, would have been around Canadian $1 million.

When seeking treatment for impotence, it is always worth remembering: the best course of action is to consult with a doctor and to purchase the drugs from reputable sources if you do choose to buy it online.
